Don’t mind me…
I’m just gonna sneak in here, no biggie, uhh…
Apparently when life gets stressful and busy blogging gets totally put on the backburner. Apparently blogging is a ‘leisure’ activity that I haven’t had time for. Good to know!
So for the sake of getting caught up, a list!
- I got a new bike and sold my own one. Wait, scratch that. I built a new bike. My city has a bike co-op where you go in, pick a frame, build a bike, and anything that needs to be put on the bike that you can find in the shop is included in the price of $50. I ended up needing a new tube, a new tire, a gear shifter and the wires for the gear shifter, and a new seat, so all in all it cost me close to $100. But still. Not bad for a bike! It’s an old Raleigh Sport.
My old bike worked well but was a single speed and I really didn’t feel like it went fast enough. This one’s a three speed and clips right along!
- Don’t be too impressed that I built a bike. They had to work with me every step of the way. On the other hand, I have a much firmer understanding of how my bike works. Which is very cool. I like practical knowledge — it’s useful.
- I got into the Creative Writing Program! I am officially a Creative Writing major. I keep forgetting to share this.
- Fall semester is over, so other than work, I have free time until January 5th. Maybe I’ll fill some of it up with blogging?
